Documentation of the Centre international  d’art et du paysage of Vassivière Island

The 9,000 works and subscriptions, the 400 videos and DVDs and the collection of files at the Centre international d’art et du paysage not only reflect the history of recent art and contemporary creation but also the memory of the place itself. The assembling of the book collection, with its specialized themes, is the expression of the life of our institution. The logic of this choice lies in the unique quality of the Art Center built by the Italian architect Aldo Rossi and in the privileged relationship between art and landscape that has been nurtured since its inauguration.

This place of documentary resources finds itself at the core of all the activities of the Art Center; used as an internal tool by the team, it is also available by appointment to researchers, students and art lovers.
