Admission:

- € 3 for adults

- free for children under 12, members of the Association of Friends of the CIAP, handicapped persons and their companions.

Experimenting contemporary art

Once a month, the educational and documentation service of the Art Center proposes to the public a meeting lasting about two hours on some topic of contemporary art. Based on themes and questions raised by the temporary exhibits, these meetings will endeavor to offer to the public a different clarification of the movements, artists or major works of contemporary art since the 1960s.

Meetings with teachers take place on the first Wednesday following the inauguration of each exhibit. These visits, meant for teachers, approach both the themes of the exhibit and any practical workshops that may result from them. This is a way for teachers interested in contemporary creation to develop with the educational service staff trajectories for reflection and practical workshops that can be used with their pupils.

Partnership with the
Pôle de Ressources pour l'éducation artistique et culturelle (PREAC) “Art and Landscape” / I.U.F.M. / C.R.D.P.
The Pôle de Ressources pour l'éducation artistique et culturelle and the Art Center have joined together to sensitize and train teachers to solve serious problems concerning close relations between the areas of art and landscape. These traineeships, lectures and workshops are part of the continuous training of National Education teachers and are aimed at exploring “a certain awareness of landscape”.

The art lending library association places at the disposal of the public a permanent collection of original engravings, photographs and drawings. Like in a library, the works can be consulted on the spot and can be borrowed. Workshops are held with school children and groups to enable them to develop specific projects on contemporary art.
